LifeGroups FAQ
At Covenant, meeting in small groups is part of our spiritual DNA. LifeGroups is our version of a small group, discipleship-outreach ministry as we are growing a family of world changers. The best things in life can happen in a LifeGroup!
Each Life Group takes place in the context of a home. Life Groups are hosted and led by servant leaders who have been trained to care for members and to lead each discipleship gathering. Life Groups are interactive by nature and are more than just a bible study. They are meant to be an expression of a spiritual family: To have a group of people who are in your life who will be there to encourage you on your journey as a follower of Christ. Life Groups are full of powerful testimonies and answered payer.

Statistics show that in most larger churches there is a tendency for people to feel disconnected and unengaged. We believe in a Life Group people will discover their potential, grow in their walk with the Lord, and form lasting relationships with others.
We have established a good number of Life Groups that meet on a regular basis in our region. The vision is to open up new groups in the larger Pittsburgh area as the Lord expands our territory north, south, east and west. In most cases Life Groups are being organized by zip codes. This helps with the administration, leadership, member care, and more. The zip code sections are overseen by Life Group Section Leaders. Each section leader works with and serve the Life Group Leaders, and Host Couples or persons in their sections. As we prepare to launch Life Groups this Fall we will allow groups to be formed by relationships and schedule preference. A full listing of where Life Groups are located is available to help you to find one in your area. Please see the Life Groups table in the foyer of the Worship Center, or fill out the form above!
