CCOP is actively involved in fulfilling the command of Jesus, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mk 16:15). We believe missions is the outworking effect of a loving relationship with God. It is a lifestyle of the church, both in the local region through a variety of outreach ministries, and beyond by sending and supporting teams going to the uttermost parts of the earth.
As our culture and world rapidly experiences globalization, it is critical for the body of Christ to be at the forefront with the message of reconciliation by preaching the gospel, as well as caring for the orphan, the widow and the poor. "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me." (Matt 25:40).
We send and support a variety of missions around the world. A few of the long term missionaries are: Bernard and Jeannette Persichetti in Indonesia, Phillip and Maryna DeVries in South Africa and Joan Marasco in Zimbabwe. As well, several short term teams go out yearly to execute missions around the world. In these last days as we pray for the nations, we seek the Lord to expand our territory as we fulfil His great commission.
