Our mission is to serve the families of our Church and Community with quality childcare and early childhood education program for children and promote healthy children and families by offering Parenting, Life Managements and family counseling Programs.
We are a member of the Keystone Stars program. Keystone stars is a state wide quality assurance program that ensure your child receives the best in education. We are certified and registered with the Department of Welfare and maintain all necessary health and safety regulations to ensure the best in child care.
Program Description
Sonshine Christian Center is a faith based center dedicated to a holistic approach to childcare and early education. It is our goal to inspire children to develop a life-long love for learning and the learning environment. This is accomplished through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.
The infants and toddlers participate in stimulating activities with a loving caregivers. They have the opportunity to explore an assortment of materials, toys, music and movement. The outdoor activities include water play (weather permitting), fine and gross motor activities and planting a garden.
The Preschool children share in a multitude of activities, including dramatic play, story time, block play and building, computers, art and sculpting with clay and music.
Our Pre-Kindergarten program is structured to prepare children for kindergarten, teaching, reading, writing and math.
