Singles' Fellowship with Purpose
The purpose of the Singles Ministry of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh is to provide Fellowship, opportunities for Discipleship and Encouragement in successful Single living for Single adults 36 and up and to fulfill our purpose of sharing the truth that gives hope and life with others like us.
It is our desire to build a greater sense of community for those among us who are unmarried by providing a safe environment for Single adults to get acquainted; a safe environment for people to learn how to properly relate to one another, how to as well as providing opportunities for ministry and leadership within the church and the community.
We are not forgotten! In a world where our lives and relationships could be defined by the standards presented by the world and the media, we choose to celebrate the freedom of our lives in Christ as defined by the Bible, the Word of God. We are valuable to the Kingdom of God and the world around us. Our primary goal is to live our lives as a demonstration of the love and life of Christ to those who don't know Him. As salt seasons and helps to preserve things and as light dispels darkness we desire to season and brighten our world and to cause others around us to come alive.
Actvities:
- Fellowship with Purpose meets on the 2nd Friday of each month from 7-9pm at Wood St.
- DivorceCare meets each Thursday at 7:00pm
- We also network with other Christian Singles' groups around the tri-state.
